Oh My Waterfall...

Finally back home! After California, took a mini 2 day trip to Texas with the whole family (missing 2 people actually) and now have a blessed one week break at home until we're off to Australia! I feel really blessed with a side of lucky to be able to see so many places. Wish I could take you all with me in my pocket to see such beauties! Two days before saying good bye to California, we took a trip to Yosemite National Park and my was it GORGEOUS! I was in awe from start to finish. Wish I could build myself a cabin there but I'm pathetic with hand tools, make a proper mess instead. Anyways...took loads of pictures, because of course you simply HAVE to snap a photo for every millisecond of a difference in the scene ha ha!

Yes, I know, I got photo happy, 200 infact! LOL but still an amazing trip. If you're ever in the neighborhood, don't miss this. Though I admit, the journey to the top...those winding curves...bleh >.< Definitely worth it though. See anything spectacular lately?

Shopping Fun...

I was lucky enough to find more treasures as I went out with my mom and aunties the other day. As a matter of fact, I got more bangles! It's like bangle fever which I'm slowly recovering from XD. 

These gorgeous babies will come in handy for the near future ;). Silver and black! 

Also we went to an amazing boutique called Creations By M&M which specializes in 24K gold filled jewelry, accessories, fashion wear, and gift items. It's located in Modesto and the shop owner, Metta, is a fantastic woman! I was able to snatch up a wonderful summer dress with peacock print! The top has that elastic band to it that I think is called 'shirred?' Correct me if I'm wrong lol. I'm inlove with it, and can't wait to start wearing it! I was also able to get it at a discount because Metta said I look like her daughter who's back in Bangkok hehe! I felt lucky =).

No matter where I am, if I see a target around, sooner or later, I have to (not really lol) go in. And yes, the dollar section is the fun section. So I picked up the paper pail and Thank You cards for only a $1.50 total! Getting good finds always makes my day. 

Off to harass some little cousins >:].

Jewelry Heaven

We went past the 'Bollywood' section of California (many many MANY of them) and I absolutely LOVE their jewelry! The earrings above are hanging off the blue bracelets you see in the back. They're long and chunky and colorful!

 

PURPLE! How I adore you so! Very happy with the weight and so glad that the earrings' back are posts. Won't drag on the ear like the wire ones, especially since they're quite heavy!

Another one with post back, and the necklace is a stiff piece so it won't bend and twist in odd angles. Made me sigh in happiness when I saw it ^_^.

 And last but not least, another gold with the darker stones. I love them all, and yes they're fashion jewelry, not real but oh so much fun! They WERE a bit on the pricey side (okay, I lied, more than a bit >.<), but they do last quite a long time. The photos unfortunately doesn't do them justice. Tried all angles, lightning, and these came out fairly satisfying =). Hope you enjoyed! Anyone else a jewelry-holic like me? XD

California Sneeze!

Starting off my third day in California and funny enough, the entire crew (family) came down with a cold lol. Perhaps because it snowed the day before we left home ( the desert) or because its pretty chilly up in Merced. Very glad I brought my jacket along or I would've lugged a blanket around all day. All in all, loving it so far. The green, the water, the beauty in all different places, and my adorable little cousin who's got very sharp teeth! Did some shopping, mostly jewelry, (I'm a sucker for it) and will post pics up of that soon. Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Off We Go!

Few months into the new year and off we go flying about! My first international trip in a long LONG while (does Canada count?) and boy have I forgotten how many things are needed to prepare, especially forms to fill out! Luckily it's all electronic though. If anyone has any suggestions of places to go and eat, do drop a comment, I'm happy to explore. Australia, prepare yourself, cause here I come!

 ...In a month anyway. But first, in a few days, off to lovely San Francisco, and hopefully some shopping =D! Really can't ever get enough of California, so many awesome spots. And luckily, traveling for that is far much easier, no baggage hassles, so let's see how much I can stuff in my luggage, shall we?
